A huge thank you to SHIP’s graduate research assistants who have contributed their considerable brain power to furthering SHIP’s goals over the 2016-2017 school year:
Michael Thomas, who joined us last September, has been working on Goals 2 and 5. He just graduated with a Master of Science in Accountancy from Boise State University. He has accepted a position at Micron Technology as a Financial Planning Analyst.
Molly Volk has also been here since last fall and has been working on Goal 1. She just graduated with a Master in Health Science Policy. You’ll find Molly hiking her way around Greece for three weeks before exploring opportunities within health policy research.
Adiya Jaffari joined the SHIP team in January and will continue through June. She will be leaving to begin medical school at the University of Washington through the WWAMI Program. Adiya has also been working on Goals 2 and 5 and has taken on Goals 3 and 4 as well.
Tara Fouts also joined SHIP in January and will continue through at least May. She is currently working with the State Evaluators and will be taking on some work with Goal 1. Tara will graduate in 2019 with a Master in Health Science Promotion.
Good luck to you all in your future endeavors!
Madeline Russell joined the Bureau of Rural Health and Primary Care as a Project Manager for SHIP on April 10th. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Idaho State University in 2015, and added Master of Business Administration in Project Management and Marketing in 2016. Welcome Madeline!
